Skipped

J and I were playing Uno the other day and it was J's turn to go first. After dealing out the cards, I flipped over the first card to play on, which happened to be a "Skip" card. I told J that it looked like it was my turn first, since he had been skipped.

He got this puzzled, yet smiley, look on his face and said, "What are you talking about, Dad?"

One of many such looks and statements I'll likely receive in coming years for making silly dad comments.
